The faithful joined Bishop Michael F. Burbidge to commemorate the Solemnity of All Saints at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More at the 12:05 p.m. Mass on Nov. 1.

In his homily, Bishop Burbidge shared that All Saints Day reminds us that we are called to grow in holiness, and to become saints.

“Sometimes we get paralyzed on that path to holiness because we become so aware of our sins and our weaknesses and our failures. Yes, we are sinners, but so were the saints. They relied on his mercy,” Bishop Burbidge told the faithful gathered. “Remember this: We cannot become holy unless it’s through God’s grace and our cooperation with Him.”
