This summer, Bishop Burbidge and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops are calling Catholics across the country to pray, reflect and act in support of religious liberty within the U.S. and abroad during Religious Freedom Week 2018.

The theme for this year’s Religious Freedom Week is “Serving Others in God’s Love.” The week starts on June 22, the Feast of Sts. Thomas More and John Fisher, and ends on June 29, the Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul.

As a Diocese, we encourage you to participate in this important cause for the Catholic Church, by taking time each day to pray, reflect, and take action on religious liberty, both here in this country and abroad. Get involved: https://www.arlingtondiocese.org/religiousfreedomweek2018/

On Friday, June 22, the Feast of Sts. Thomas More & John Fisher, Bishop Burbidge will commence Religious Freedom Week 2018 in the Diocese by celebrating an opening Mass at 12:05 p.m. in the Cathedral of Saint Thomas More in Arlington, VA.

All Catholics are invited to join Bishop Burbidge for this special liturgy as we pray for the preservation of our freedom to serve God faithfully and with integrity: https://www.arlingtondiocese.org/Opening-Mass-for-Religious-Freedom-Week-2018/
