In 1992, St. John Paul II designed Feb. 11 as the World Day of the Sick, a time to pray for those suffering from illnesses as well as for caregivers who work so hard to alleviate the illnesses and afflictions others are experiencing. Let us spend this week praying for those who are suffering, and for all healthcare workers, in thanksgiving for their caring and generous service.
