The Thanksgiving holiday is upon us. It is a time in America when people of all faiths express their appreciation for God's abundant gifts. We are thankful for life, faith, family, friends, country and the food many of us enjoy around a table filled with love and joy. Grateful for the company of those for whom we care, and care for us, may we also pray for those who are vulnerable and do our best to support their needs. Despite any challenges we might have as a nation, it is important to remember we are the United States of America. This Thanksgiving, we say “thank you” to our gracious God, the source of all our good gifts and blessings. May our lives reflect our appreciation in word and deed. Happy Thanksgiving!
